A graduate of Nigeria’s foremost university, University of Nigeria, Nsukka from the department of Medical Radiography and Radiological Sciences in January 1997. Has a master’s degree in Medical Imaging from the same department in June 2014 and undergoing her PhD in Health Management from the same department. Presently working at the State House Medical Centre, Aso Rock (the Presidency), Asokoro, Abuja with over 22 years’ experience.
At the moment, an Assistant Director. Has undergone a lot of international conferences, workshops, seminars and trainings which has led her to be awarded with certificates in MRI and mammography specialties both internationally and locally. With excellence in practice of Radiography her core skill, she has trained uncountable radiographers with a handful of them working in some of the best hospitals locally and internationally. About The President
My name is Dlama Zira Joseph; by the grace of God, I obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Radiography, Master of Science degree in Radiation and Medical Physics, Master of health management and PhD in Radiography and Radiological Sciences (Radiation Protection and dosimetry). I am currently a faculty board member in faculty of Allied Health Sciences, Bayero University Kano. I am a consultant in Radiation safety. I am a young, organized, experienced, responsible, respectful, obedient, God fearing, credible, dependable, honest, trustworthy and innovative personality and Radiographer with passion for clinical radiography practice, teaching, research, community service and mentoring. My goal is to see radiography profession grow beyond its current shores.
I have ten years cognate experience in teaching and radiography practice with proficiency and clinical Competence in Magnetic Resonance imaging, Ultrasonography, radiation protection and dosimetry. I have worked as a radiographer in Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Teaching Hospital Bauchi, Bauchi state, North Eastern Nigeria as technical head of Radiography. I am currently the Nigerian Country Representative for Pan- African Congress for Radiology and Imaging (PACORI). I have worked as radiation safety officer and member of radiation safety committee for six years in the hospital and now a radiation safety consultant in diagnostic radiology with extensive experience.
I also served in various capacities as member of radiology revolving fund committee, committee on appointment of interns, research ethics committee, National Association of Radiographers of Nigeria education committee, Chairman departmental Radiography curriculum review committee, member departmental appointment and promotion committee and chairman departmental seminar committee in the hospital. As a researcher in the field of radiography and medical imaging, I have published over 70 scholarly articles in reputable journals and have presented over 20 papers in international and local conferences. I am one of the ten selected professionals by International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) to establish regional Diagnostic Reference Levels (DRLs) in African Member state under IAEA RAF 9059 Project. I have benefitted several travel grants on merit by IAEA to present papers on Radiography practice and Radiation protection.
I am a member of International Society for Radiographers and Radiologic Technologist (ISRRT), European Society of Radiology and The Association of Radiographers of Nigeria (ARN). Currently I am a lecturer with the department of Radiography and the postgraduate co-ordinator, Bayero University Kano. I served as Chairman of the Association of Radiographers of Nigeria, Bauchi State branch, Nigeria from September 2016 to November 2019. By the grace of God, I am the president of the Association of Radiographers of Nigeria.

Adolphus R. N. Eze is a medical radiographer and advanced ultrasound practitioner in Lagos State, Nigeria. He qualified from the University of Nigeria and is currently a supervising radiographer at Vedic Lifecare Hospital, Lekki, Lagos State and vascular sonography specialist at Lagos Executive Cardiovascular Centre (LECC).
He is a post-graduate scholar at the University of Nigeria with vested research interests in clinical sonography. He is an associate member of the ISRRT and a certified clinical instructor with the International Point-of-Care Ultrasound Organization, a body for which, he is the ambassador to Nigeria.
On the sidelines, Adolphus is a clinical applications specialist and visiting medical imaging specialist to several hospitals in Lagos. His practice focuses on advanced practice sonography, complex critical care imaging, clinical reporting and radiology cum hospital administration. He is also an adjunct medical imaging consultant in Nigeria for ImedReads, California, United States.

Samuel Shem Laushugno is a Radiographer/Sonographer. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Radiography and holds a Master’s Degree in Medical Imaging with a biased for obstetrics and gynecology ultrasound.
Samuel Shem Laushugno is a lecturer with Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, Nigeria. Prior to his appointment with the University, he worked as a clinical Radiographer/Sonographer in the Hospital.
He is a member of several professional affiliations such as; Association of Radiographers of Nigeria (ARN), European Society of Radiology, and International Society of Radiographers and Radiologic Technologist (ISRRT).
He is passionate about teaching and practice as a sonographer. He had attended and delivered papers at several conferences and workshops. He has also published papers in several Journals in his area of specialization. His research interest is in the area of ultrasound imaging. He has rendered selfless services to several communities, State and International Organizations.
He was a former Chairman Association of Radiographers of Nigerian (ARN) Gombe Branch, National financial Secretary, and currently the National Secretary Association of Radiographers of Nigeria.

Mallam Samaila Aliyu Baba was born in Bauchi into the family of Mallam and Hadjia Samaila of Kiru Local Government of Kano State. He obtained B. Rad Radiography from the University of Maiduguri in 2010, Internship at AKTH, Kano city between 2010 and 2011, NYSC at AKTH, 2012 and M.Sc Biomedical Engineering, I Instanbul Turkey in 2014. Samaila is gainfully employed as a lecturer at Bayero University Kano, Nigeria. Currently elected as the Assistant National Secretary I of The Association of Radiographers of Nigeria.

A revolutionary, pragmatic and a higher level thinking young man. He is a dedicated, distinguished and very dynamic Diagnostic Radiographer. He is the outgoing National Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Association of Radiographers of Nigera (the ARN), a position he held from November 2013 from the Land of uncommon transformation (Uyo), got re-elected and returned unopposed in November, 2016 in Kano State and the incoming Assistant National Secretary II of the ARN. He was born on the 10th November to the Sule’s royal family in Ogbabede Biraidu in Abocho, Dekina LGA of Kogi State.
He had his nursery to university education in the famous city of Calabar, Cross River State in Aku Nursery School, Akim Qua Town, Calabar; Army Command Children School (ACCS), Akim Barracks, Calabar; University of Calabar International Secondary School (UCISS), Calabar and University of Calabar, Calabar were he obtained his first degree with honours in Radiography (2009) and later proceeded to the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital Complex (OAUTHc), Ile-Ife for his one-year apprenticeship (2010); he has a PG certificate in CT-Scan from the RRBN; served his fatherland in the Imo State Specialist Hospital, Umugwuma, Owerri as the Head of the Department, Radiodiagnostic and Medical Imaging Department. His work and contributions towards patients management fetched him an employment with the hospital but he left for Lagos in 2012 to join the Federal Medical Centre, Ebute Metta where he is currently and gainfully employed. His love for Ultrasonography got him enrolled for the PGD USS organized by the Institute of Radiography, RRBN in 2013. He is a servant-leader. He served as the Senior School Prefect (SP-Boy) in UCISS Class of 2003, held many other positions in the Faculty of Allied Medical Sciences, College of Medicine, University of Calabar (Directors of Social, Welfare, Treasurer and was a presidential candidate in the one of a kind Calabar University Radiography Students Association (CURSA, now NARS-Unical) election in 2008.He has attended and presented papers in many conferences/seminars, won several awards/honours and he is very resourceful.His interests in Radiography areultrasonography, oncology/radiotherapy, education/research, O & G Radiography andEntrepreneurship. He believes in a better and greater tomorrow for Radiography Profession, Practice and Training in Nigeria, Africa and World over.He mentors and teaches radiography students.He is currently running his Master of Science in Radiography (Medical Imaging), University of Calabar.
